Lovely pepper and spice characters on a perfumed fruit nose, and a very long, well integrated,
spicy palate.

THE ADVERTISER FEBRUARY 2007

MC SYRAH 2006
91 points

The MC stands for “maceration carbonic”, a winemaking techique where uncrushed grapes are
left to ferment on “wild yeasts for a fortnight before pressing, yielding a light, soft, plum-juicy wine with pretty purples in the glass, easy drinking when you just slurp it down, yet quite peppery in the finish.
Pretty stuff.

and grippy tannins and warming alcohol.

Fragrant aromas of honeysuckle and orange peel. Very sweete palate but balanced by a slight phenolic grip.
