SYRAH 2006
Lovely pepper and spice characters on a perfumed fruit nose, and a very long, well integrated, spicy palate.

The MC stands for “maceration carbonic”, a winemaking techique where uncrushed grapes are left to ferment on “wild yeasts for a fortnight before pressing, yielding a light, soft, plum-juicy wine with pretty purples in the glass, easy drinking when you just slurp it down, yet quite peppery in the finish. Pretty stuff.
